Title: Effects of Regular Cannabis Use on Depression

What is the purpose of the study?
     We are looking at the effects that 28 days of abstaining from cannabis has on individuals diagnosed with depression that regularly use cannabis. Participants are required to come in for weekly sessions that examine symptoms of depression, anxiety, and cognition. A $300 reward bonus is provided if participant remains successfully abstinent by study endpoint.

     Individuals with: Major Depressive Disorder, Cannabis Use Disorder
     Individuals without
a mental health or
addiction problem:

What does the study involve?
     Number of contacts:  9: 1 phone screen, 1 in-person screen, 7 study visits
     Time period:  2 months (28 days + follow-up)
     Length of contacts: In-person range from 1.5-4 hours, 10 minute phone screen
     Treatment offered:
