Title: Are You Interested in Quitting Smoking?

What is the purpose of the study?
     Are you a daily smoker intending to quit? The Nicotine Dependence Clinic invites individuals who wish to quit smoking to participate in a research study involving non-invasive brain stimulation and varenicline (Champix). Financial compensation will be provided. For more information, please call 416-535-8501 ext 77297 or email helena.zhang@camh.ca. Must be available on weekdays.

     Individuals with: Daily Smokers, Intending to Quit
     Individuals without
a mental health or
addiction problem: 



     Age range: 19 - 65
     Gender: All

What does the study involve?
     Number of contacts:  17 clinic visits, 3 fMRI visits
     Time period:  6 months
     Length of contacts: 3hr assessment visit (1x), 1 hr clinic visits (16x), 1 hr fMRI visits (3x)
